1
Innamal a'malu binniyat, wa innama likullimri'in ma nawa
— 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Verily, Actions are judged by intentions, and every person will have only what they intended.
Lesson: Your deeds are judged by how you do them, not just what you do. A person who gives charity to show off gets no reward, but one who gives secretly for Allah earns great reward. Before any action, ask yourself "Why am I doing this?" and renew your intention for Allah.
2
Ad-dinu an-nasihah
— Tamim ad-Dari (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: The religion is sincere advice.
Lesson: Being a Muslim means sincerely wanting good for others — for Allah, His Book, His Messenger, and all Muslims. If you see a brother making a mistake, advise him privately and gently, not publicly to embarrass him. This sincere care for others is the heart of Islam.
Inna min khiyarikum ahsanakum akhlaqa
— Abdullah ibn Amr (رضي الله عنهما)
Meaning: The best among you are those with the best character.
Lesson: The Prophet ﷺ did not say the best are the richest or most powerful — he said the best have the best manners. Being honest, patient, kind, and forgiving makes you excellent. Work on your character daily.
4
Min husni islamil mar'i tarkuhu ma la ya'nih
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: From the perfection of a person's Islam is leaving what does not concern him.
Lesson: A good Muslim minds his own business and avoids useless talk, gossip, and arguments. Your time is precious — use it for worship, family, and self-improvement. If something doesn't concern you, simply leave it.
5
La darara wa la dirar
— Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: No harm and no reciprocating harm.
Lesson: You cannot harm others, and you cannot harm them back even if they harmed you first. Islam wants justice, not revenge. Before any action, ask: "Will this hurt anyone?" If yes, don't do it.
6
— Abdullah ibn Umar (رضي الله عنهما)
Meaning: Islam is built upon five pillars.
Lesson: The five pillars are like the foundation of a building — if one is weak, the whole structure suffers. Focus first on your belief, then your prayer, then your fasting, charity, and Hajj if able. Strengthen each pillar daily.
7
La yuldaghul mu'minu min juhrin wahidin marratayn
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: A believer is not stung from the same hole twice.
Lesson: A believer learns from their mistakes and does not repeat them. If someone betrays your trust or you make a bad decision, take the lesson and move forward wisely. Don't be naive — learn and grow.
8
An ta'budallaha ka'annaka tarahu, fa in lam takun tarahu fa innahu yaraka
— 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Worship Allah as if you see Him, for if you do not see Him, He sees you.
Lesson: This is the highest level of faith — to be aware that Allah is always watching. When you pray, imagine Allah in front of you. When you are alone, know that Allah sees you. This awareness will stop you from sinning and increase your devotion.
9
Innallaha tayyibun la yaqbalu illa tayyiba
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Allah is pure and accepts only what is pure.
Lesson: Allah is pure, so He only accepts pure deeds, pure food, and pure earnings. If your money comes from haram sources like cheating or interest, your worship may not be accepted. Always ensure your income and food are halal.
10
Kun fid dunya ka'annaka gharibun aw 'abiru sabil
— Abdullah ibn Umar (رضي الله عنهما)
Meaning: Be in this world as if you are a stranger or a traveler.
Lesson: A traveler does not build a mansion or collect heavy baggage — he stays temporarily. This world is not your permanent home; your real home is Paradise. Don't become obsessed with wealth or status; use this world to prepare for the next.
11
La taghdhab
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Do not become angry.
Lesson: Anger destroys relationships and leads to regret. When you feel angry, say "A'udhu billah" and change your position — sit if standing, lie down if sitting. Never act or speak in anger.
12
Man kana yu'minu billahi wal yawmil akhir fal yaqul khairan aw li yasmut
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent.
Lesson: This is a simple rule for speech: if what you're about to say is not good, don't say it. Before speaking, ask yourself: "Is this true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?" If not, silence is better. Your tongue can save you or destroy you.
13
Al-mu'minul qawiyyu khairun wa ahabbu ilallahi minal mu'minid da'if, wa fi kullin khair
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, though both have good.
Lesson: Strength here means strong in faith, character, and also physical health. A strong believer can do more good deeds, help more people, and resist sin better. Work on becoming strong in every good way.
14
— Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.
Lesson: True faith means wanting good for others just as you want it for yourself. If you want wealth, health, and happiness, wish the same for your fellow Muslims. This removes envy and builds community.
15
Itaqillaha haithuma kunta, wa atbi'is sayyi'atal hasanata tamhuha, wa khaliqin nasa bikhuluqin hasan
— Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Fear Allah wherever you are, follow a bad deed with a good deed to erase it, and treat people with good character.
Lesson: This hadith gives three powerful rules: always be conscious of Allah, immediately do good after any sin, and be kind to people. A single good deed can wipe out a sin if done sincerely.
16
Kullu sulama minan nasi 'alaihi sadaqah kulla yawmin tatl'u fihish shams... wal kalimatut tayyibatu sadaqah
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Every joint of a person must give charity daily... and a good word is charity.
Lesson: You don't need money to give charity — a smile, a kind word, helping someone, or even removing trash is charity. Every day, look for small ways to be helpful. These small deeds add up to great reward.
17
Man yadman li ma bayna lahyayhi wa ma bayna rijlayhi adman lahu al-jannah
— Sahl ibn Sa'd as-Sa'idi (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Whoever guarantees for me what is between his jaws (tongue) and what is between his legs (private parts), I guarantee him Paradise.
Lesson: Two organs can lead you to Paradise or Hell — your tongue and your private parts. If you control your speech from lying, backbiting, and vulgarity, and protect your chastity, Paradise is guaranteed. This is a simple but powerful formula.
18
Al-muslimu man salimal muslimuna min lisanihi wa yadihi
— Abdullah ibn Amr (رضي الله عنهما)
Meaning: The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand Muslims are safe.
Lesson: A true Muslim never hurts others with his words or his actions. If people feel safe from your tongue (no insults, no backbiting) and your hand (no hitting, no stealing), you are a true Muslim. Be a source of safety, not harm.
19
Man ghashshana falaisa minna
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Whoever cheats us is not from us.
Lesson: Cheating in business, exams, or any transaction is not allowed in Islam. If you sell something, clearly mention any defects. If you take a test, do not copy. Honesty is the foundation of Muslim character.
20
Haqqul muslimi 'alal muslimi khams: raddus salam, wa 'iyadatul marid, wa ittiba'ul jana'iz, wa ijabatud da'wah, wa tashmitul 'atith
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: The rights of one Muslim over another are five: returning greetings, visiting the sick, following funerals, accepting invitations, and responding to sneezes.
Lesson: Muslims have duties toward each other — these five are a starting point. Say "Wa alaykum as-salaam" when greeted, visit sick relatives, attend funerals, accept halal invitations, and say "Yarhamukallah" when someone sneezes and praises Allah. These small acts strengthen brotherhood.
21
Khairukum man ta'allamal Qur'ana wa 'allamah
— Uthman ibn Affan (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it.
Lesson: Learning and teaching the Qur'an is one of the highest deeds. You don't need to memorize the whole Qur'an — even learning one surah and teaching it to your child or friend makes you among the best. Start today.
22
Laisa minna man lam yarham saghirana wa ya'rif haqqa kabirina
— Abdullah ibn Amr (رضي الله عنهما)
Meaning: He is not from us who does not show mercy to our young and know the rights of our elders.
Lesson: A true Muslim is merciful to children — playing with them, being patient with them — and respects the elderly. If you ignore children or disrespect the old, you are missing an important part of Islamic character. Mercy and respect are signs of faith.
23
Ahabbul a'mali ilallahi adwamuha wa in qall
Meaning: The most beloved deeds to Allah are the most consistent, even if small.
Lesson: Don't burn yourself out with huge acts of worship that you cannot sustain. Praying 2 extra rak'ah every night consistently is better than praying 100 rak'ah once and then stopping. Allah loves steady, small deeds.
24
'Ainani la tamassuhuman nar: 'ainun baket min khashyatillah, wa 'ainun batat tahrisu fi sabilillah
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Two eyes will not be touched by Hellfire: an eye that wept out of fear of Allah, and an eye that stood guard in the path of Allah.
Lesson: Tears shed for the sake of Allah — out of fear, love, or when hearing the Qur'an — protect you from Hell. Also, those who guard the Muslim community (soldiers, police, night guards) are honored. Let your eyes cry for Allah and serve others.
25
As-sa'i 'alal armalati wal miskini kal mujahidi fi sabilillah
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: The one who strives for the widow and the poor is like a mujahid in the path of Allah.
Lesson: Serving the needy is as rewarding as fighting in battle for Allah's sake. Helping a widow find work, feeding a poor family, or supporting an orphan are all acts of great virtue. Don't underestimate service to others.
26
Talabul 'ilmi faridatun 'ala kulli muslim
— Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.
Lesson: Learning your religion is not optional — it is a duty. Every Muslim must learn how to pray correctly, what is halal and haram, and the basics of faith. Make time daily to learn something new about Islam.
27
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Do not envy, do not artificially inflate prices, do not hate, do not turn away from each other, and be brothers.
Lesson: This hadith lists diseases of the heart that destroy community: envy, hatred, and boycotting. Purify your heart from these feelings. Treat all Muslims as your brothers and sisters, not as rivals.
28
Man ra'a minkum munkaran fal yughayyirhu biyadihi, fa in lam yastati' fa bilisanihi, fa in lam yastati' fa biqalbihi, wa dhalika ad'aful iman
— Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Whoever sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; if unable, then with his tongue; if unable, then with his heart — and that is the weakest of faith.
Lesson: If you see something wrong, try to stop it. If you have power (as a parent, boss, or ruler), use it. If not, speak against it. If you cannot even speak, at least hate it in your heart. Never accept evil silently.
29
Al-imanu bid'un wa sab'una shu'batan, fa afdaluha qawlu la ilaha illallah, wa adnaha imatul adha 'anit tariq, wal haya'u shu'batum minal iman
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Faith has 70+ branches, the highest is "La ilaha illallah", the lowest is removing harm from the road, and modesty is a branch of faith.
Lesson: Faith is not just one thing — it is many actions, big and small. Even removing a rock from the sidewalk is an act of faith. Never think a small good deed is worthless; everything counts.
30
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Faith and envy do not combine in the heart of a servant.
Lesson: Envy (wishing for someone to lose a blessing) is a disease that destroys faith. When you see someone with wealth, beauty, or knowledge, do not wish it away from them. Instead, pray for barakah in their lives and ask Allah to give you the same without taking from them.
31
Innal 'abda layatakallamu bil kalimati ma yatabayyanu fiha yazillu biha ilan nar ab'ada ma baynal mashriqi wal maghrib
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: A servant may speak a word without thinking, and it will cause him to fall into Hell further than the distance between east and west.
Lesson: One careless word can destroy your Hereafter. A joke that mocks Islam, a comment that hurts someone deeply, or a lie told casually can have devastating consequences. Always think before you speak.
32
Mathalul jalisis salihi was saw'i kahamilil miski wa nafikhil keer...
— Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: A good companion is like a musk seller — you may get some or at least smell a good scent. A bad companion is like a blacksmith's bellows — he may burn your clothes or you get a bad smell.
Lesson: Your friends affect you, whether you realize it or not. Good friends inspire you to be better; bad friends slowly pull you down. Choose your companions carefully — they will influence your character and your faith.
33
Atadruna mal muflees?...
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: The bankrupt is one who comes on Judgment Day with prayers, fasting, and zakat, but he had cursed others, slandered, consumed wealth, and shed blood — then his good deeds are given to them.
Lesson: On Judgment Day, your good deeds can be taken away and given to those you wronged. If you have no good deeds left, their sins are placed on you. This is why we must return stolen property, apologize for insults, and seek forgiveness from those we have hurt before we die.
34
Falzamha, fa innal jannata 'inda rijlayha
— Mu'awiyah ibn Jahmah as-Sulami (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Stay with her (your mother), for Paradise is beneath her feet.
Lesson: Serving your mother is one of the greatest deeds. A man wanted to go for jihad, but the Prophet ﷺ told him to stay and serve his mother instead — because serving her is like jihad. Respect your mother, help her, and never raise your voice at her.
35
Khairukum khairukum li ahlihi, wa ana khairukum li ahli
Meaning: The best of you are the best to their families, and I am the best to my family.
Lesson: Some people are kind to strangers but harsh to their own spouse and children. The Prophet ﷺ taught that true excellence is being kind to your own family first. Treat your wife/husband with love, your children with mercy, and your parents with respect.
36
Layash shadidu bis sur'ah, innamash shadidul ladhi yamliku nafsahu 'indal ghadab
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: The strong is not the one who overcomes people, but the one who controls himself when angry.
Lesson: Many people think strength is physical power — winning fights, lifting weights, or dominating others. But true strength is controlling your anger when you have every reason to explode. A person who stays calm and forgiving when angry is the truly strong one.
37
Ma hadhas saraf?... Afil wudu'i israf? Qala: Na'am, wa in kunta 'ala naharin jar
— Abdullah ibn Amr (رضي الله عنهما)
Meaning: Is there waste in wudu? He said: Yes, even if you are on a flowing river.
Lesson: Do not waste water, even if you have plenty. Some people let the tap run while brushing teeth or use excessive water for wudu. The Prophet ﷺ taught moderation in all things, even when resources are abundant. Be mindful of Allah's blessings.
38
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Most of what causes people to enter Hell are the two hollows: the mouth and the private parts.
Lesson: The tongue and the private parts are the two biggest dangers for a Muslim. Guard your tongue from lying, backbiting, and vulgar speech. Guard your private parts from zina (adultery/fornication) and looking at haram. If you protect these two, you protect most of your religion.
39
Innal amanata nazalat fi jadhri qulubir rijal, thumma nazalal Qur'anu fa 'alimu minal Qur'ani wa 'alimu minas sunnah
— Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Trustworthiness descended in the roots of men's hearts, then the Qur'an came and they learned from it.
Lesson: Trustworthiness is not just about returning borrowed items — it includes keeping secrets, fulfilling promises, doing your job honestly, and not betraying people's trust. Be someone that others can trust with their money, their secrets, and their rights.
40
— Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Those who consume people's flesh (backbite) and attack their honor.
Lesson: Backbiting (talking about someone behind their back in a way they would dislike) is compared to eating their dead flesh — it is that disgusting in Allah's sight. If you have a problem with someone, speak to them directly or remain silent. Never gossip about others.
41
Itaqi da'watal madhlum, fa innaha laysa baynaha wa baynallahi hijab
— Abdullah ibn Abbas (رضي الله عنهما)
Meaning: Fear the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no veil between it and Allah.
Lesson: If you oppress someone — take their rights, hurt them, or wrong them — they can make a dua against you that Allah answers immediately. Never think you can get away with oppressing others. Their cry reaches Allah without any barrier.
42
Khairun nasi anfa'uhum linnas
— Jabir ibn 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما)
Meaning: The best of people are the most beneficial to others.
Lesson: Your value as a Muslim is measured by how much you help others. A person who spends their life serving their family, community, and humanity is better than one who prays and fasts but ignores others. Find ways to be useful — teach, help, donate, volunteer.
43
Innallaha rafiqun yuhibbur rifq, wa yu'ti 'alar rifqi ma la yu'ti 'alal 'unf
Meaning: Allah is gentle and loves gentleness, and He gives for gentleness what He does not give for harshness.
Lesson: Gentleness is powerful. The Prophet ﷺ was gentle even with his enemies. When you correct your child, deal with your spouse, or speak to a stranger, do it with kindness and softness. Harshness pushes people away; gentleness brings them closer to Allah.
44
Iyyakum wa muhaqqarati dh-dhunub, fa inna mathala dhalika kamathali qawmin nazalu batna wadin...
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Beware of minor sins, for they gather like sticks until they cook the bread.
Lesson: A small sin repeated many times becomes a huge problem. One small lie, one glance at haram, one backbiting comment — alone they seem small, but together they destroy your faith. Do not think "it's just a small sin." Stop it before it grows.
45
Man dalla 'ala khairin falahu mithlu ajri fa'ilihi
— Abu Mas'ud al-Badri (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Whoever guides to good has a reward similar to the one who does it.
Lesson: If you tell someone about a good deed and they do it, you get the same reward without reducing their reward. Share Islamic videos, recommend good books, teach someone a surah, or invite someone to a charity. Your guidance multiplies your good deeds.
46
Meaning: Halal is clear, haram is clear, and between them are doubtful matters. Whoever avoids doubtful matters protects his religion and honor.
Lesson: If you are unsure whether something is halal or haram (like a food ingredient or a business deal), leave it. Don't play with the gray areas. Staying away from doubts protects your faith and your reputation. Only engage in what is clearly permissible.
47
Ad-dunya sijnul mu'mini wa jannatul kafir
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: The world is a prison for the believer and a paradise for the disbeliever.
Lesson: A believer feels restricted in this world because they cannot do everything they want — no alcohol, no zina, no lying. But the disbeliever feels free to do anything. However, in the Hereafter, the roles reverse: the believer will be in Paradise, and the disbeliever in Hell. Endure the restrictions of this world for the eternal reward.
48
Ma naqasat sadaqatun min mal, wa ma zadallahu 'abdan bi 'afwin illa 'izza, wa man tawada'a lillahi rafa'ahullahu
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives except that Allah increases him in honor, and no one humbles himself for Allah except that Allah raises him.
Lesson: Three promises from Allah: giving charity will not make you poor, forgiving others will make you honored, and being humble will make you elevated by Allah. Do not fear poverty when giving — trust Allah's promise that your wealth will be blessed.
49
At-tajirus saduqul amin ma'an nabiyyina was siddiqina wash shuhada'
— Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: The truthful, trustworthy merchant is with the prophets, the truthful, and the martyrs.
Lesson: Honest business is a high station in Islam. A merchant who never lies, never cheats in measurements, and clearly describes any defects will be raised on Judgment Day with the prophets and martyrs. This shows the honor of earning halal income with honesty.
50
Man kana yu'minu billahi wal yawmil akhir falyukrim dayfahu, wa man kana yu'minu billahi wal yawmil akhir fal yasil rahimahu, wa man kana yu'minu billahi wal yawmil akhir fal yaqul khairan aw li yasmut
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his guest, maintain family ties, and speak good or remain silent.
Lesson: These three actions are signs of true faith: generosity to guests (even if they stay 3 days), staying connected to relatives (even if they cut you off), and controlling your speech. A believer without these is missing something essential.
51
Tabassumuka fi wajhi akhika laka sadaqah
— Abu Dharr (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Your smiling in the face of your brother is charity for you.
Lesson: A smile costs nothing but brings great reward. When you meet another Muslim, greet them with a cheerful face. This small act removes tension, spreads love, and is counted as charity. Never underestimate the power of a sincere smile.
52
Imatul adha 'anit tariqi sadaqah
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Removing harm from the road is charity.
Lesson: A simple act like picking up a broken glass, trimming a branch that blocks the sidewalk, or cleaning up litter is an act of charity. You don't need money to earn reward. Keep your surroundings clean and safe for others.
53
Fasaqal kalba faghfira lah
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: He gave water to the dog, and Allah forgave him.
Lesson: A man was forgiven for his sins just because he gave water to a thirsty dog. If kindness to an animal brings such reward, imagine kindness to humans. Be merciful to all of Allah's creatures — animals, birds, and even insects. Mercy to creation brings mercy from the Creator.
54
Al-mu'minul qawiyyu khairun wa ahabbu ilallahi minal mu'minid da'if
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer.
Lesson: Strive to be strong — not just in faith, but in health, knowledge, and character. A strong believer can help others more, resist temptation better, and serve the community longer. Work out your body, strengthen your mind, and deepen your faith.
55
Ayyul 'amali ahabbu ilallahi? Qala: As-salatu 'ala waqtiha
— 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Which deed is most beloved to Allah? He said: Prayer on its time.
Lesson: Praying on time is more beloved to Allah than even voluntary prayers or charity. Do not delay prayer without a valid reason. When the adhan is called, prioritize prayer over work, sleep, or entertainment. This shows your commitment to Allah.
56
'Alaykum bis sidq, fa innas sidqa yahdi ilal birr, wa innal birra yahdi ilal jannah
— 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Be truthful, for truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise.
Lesson: Truthfulness is a path that leads all the way to Paradise. One honest statement leads to another, until you become a righteous person. Start with small truths — don't lie even in jokes. Over time, honesty becomes your nature, and that nature leads you to Jannah.
57
Iyyakum wal kadhib, fa innal kadhiba yahdi ilal fujur, wa innal fujura yahdi ilan nar
— 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Beware of lying, for lying leads to wickedness, and wickedness leads to Hell.
Lesson: Lying is a slippery slope. One small lie leads to another to cover it, and soon you become a liar without even realizing it. Lying then leads to other sins (fujur), and that path ends in Hell. Break the habit of lying, even if the truth is uncomfortable.
58
Inna min khiyarikum ahsanakum akhlaqa
— Abdullah ibn Amr (رضي الله عنهما)
Meaning: The best among you are the best in character.
Lesson: Repeating this hadith reminds us of its importance. Your qualifications, wealth, and status mean nothing without good character. Be kind, be humble, be honest, be patient. These are the qualities that make you best in Allah's sight.
59
Mathalul bakhili wal mutasaddiqi kamathali rajulayni 'alayhima jubbatani min hadid
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: The example of a stingy person and a charitable one is like two men wearing iron coats.
Lesson: A stingy person feels his wealth is tight and hard to give, like an iron coat squeezing him. A generous person feels free and open. Charity does not reduce wealth — it expands blessings. Give regularly, and you will feel your heart open and your rizq increase.
60
Wal kalimatut tayyibatu sadaqah
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: A good word is charity.
Lesson: A kind word to someone who is sad, a compliment to encourage someone, or a gentle reply to a harsh comment — all of these are charity. You don't need money to give sadaqah. Your tongue can be a source of great reward if you use it kindly.
61
Man da'a ila hudan kana lahu minal ajri mithlu ujuri man tabi'ah
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Whoever calls to guidance gets reward like those who follow him.
Lesson: When you guide someone to good, you get the same reward as that person without reducing their reward. Share a beneficial post, teach someone a sunnah, or inspire someone to pray. Your influence can bring you ongoing reward even after you die.
62
I'fu 'amman zalamakum, wa silu man qata'akum, wa ahsinu ila man asa'a ilaykum
— Abdullah ibn Amr (رضي الله عنهما)
Meaning: Forgive those who wrong you, connect with those who cut you off, and do good to those who harm you.
Lesson: This is the highest level of character. Don't just forgive — also maintain ties with relatives who ignore you. Don't just avoid harming — actively do good to those who hurt you. This is difficult but it is the way of the righteous. Start small and work your way up.
63
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal hammi wal hazan
— Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow.
Lesson: The Prophet ﷺ made this dua often. Anxiety (worry about the future) and sorrow (sadness about the past) can overwhelm us. Make this dua daily, especially in your sujud. Trust Allah with your future and accept His decree for your past.
64
Thalathun munjiyat: khashyatullahi fisiri wal alaniyah, wal qasdu fil ghina wal faqr, wal 'adlu fir rida wal ghadab
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Three things save: fearing Allah secretly and openly, being balanced in wealth and poverty, and being just in anger and pleasure.
Lesson: These three qualities will save you on Judgment Day: fearing Allah even when no one is watching, not going to extremes whether you are rich or poor, and being fair even when angry or when you love someone. Practice these daily.
65
Thalathun muhlikat: shuhhun muta', wa hawan muttaba', wa i'jabul mar'i bi nafsihi
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Three things destroy: greed obeyed, desires followed, and self-conceit.
Lesson: Be careful of these three diseases: greed that makes you hoard wealth, following every desire without restraint, and being proud of yourself. These destroy your faith and lead to ruin. Fight greed by giving charity, fight desires by fasting, fight pride by remembering your faults.
66
Bihasbi imri'in minash sharri an yahtiqra akhahul muslim
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: It is enough evil for a person to look down on his Muslim brother.
Lesson: Thinking you are better than others is a serious sin. Never mock someone for being poor, less educated, or from a different background. You don't know their value in Allah's sight. Treat every Muslim with respect, and never belittle anyone.
67
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Allah does not look at your appearances or wealth, but He looks at your hearts and deeds.
Lesson: Allah does not care if you are beautiful or plain, rich or poor. He cares about what is in your heart — your sincerity, your love for Him, your fear of Him — and your actions. Focus on purifying your heart and improving your deeds, not on impressing people.
68
Man nafasa 'an mu'minin kur batan min kurabid dunya nafasallahu 'anhu kur batan min kurabi yawmil qiyamah
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Whoever relieves a believer's distress in this world, Allah will relieve his distress on Judgment Day.
Lesson: When someone is in difficulty — financial trouble, illness, sadness — help them. Even a small help counts. On Judgment Day, when everyone is in terrible distress, Allah will remember your kindness and give you relief. Help others, and Allah will help you.
69
Meaning: Make things easy, not difficult; give glad tidings, not repulsion.
Lesson: When teaching Islam, be gentle and easy. Don't overwhelm new Muslims with all the rules at once. Give people hope in Allah's mercy, not just fear of His punishment. If you make Islam seem difficult, people will run away. Make it easy, and they will come closer.
70
Iyyakum wazh zhanna, fa inazh zhanna akdhabul hadith
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the most false of speech.
Lesson: Most of our suspicions are wrong. You see your brother leaving a bad place — maybe he had a valid reason. You see your sister talking to someone — maybe it's her relative. Give people the benefit of the doubt. Suspicion leads to spying and backbiting, so avoid it completely.
71
Wa la tajassasu, wa la tahassasu
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Do not spy or seek out faults of others.
Lesson: Don't investigate people's secrets. Don't try to find out what they are hiding. Don't eavesdrop on their conversations. If someone hides their sin, don't expose them. Leave people's private matters to Allah. Focus on your own faults, not others'.
72
La tahasadu
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Do not envy one another.
Lesson: Envy is wishing that someone loses a blessing they have. This is forbidden. If you see someone with wealth, health, or knowledge, do not wish it away from them. Instead, be happy for them and ask Allah to give you the same without taking from them. Envy burns up good deeds like fire burns wood.
73
Wa la tadabaru
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Do not turn your backs on each other (boycott).
Lesson: Cutting off contact with a Muslim brother for more than three days is not allowed. If you have an argument, reconcile within three days. Be the first to say salaam. Don't let shaytan keep you apart. Staying angry and ignoring each other destroys brotherhood.
74
Wa la tabaghudu
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Do not hate each other.
Lesson: Hatred is a disease of the heart. Even if someone wronged you, do not let hatred settle in your heart. Forgive them, or at least do not wish evil upon them. Hatred hurts you more than it hurts them. Purify your heart for Allah's sake.
75
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim; he does not wrong him nor abandon him.
Lesson: Treat every Muslim as your brother or sister. This means you don't oppress them, and when they are in trouble, you don't abandon them. If your brother is being oppressed, help him. If he is in need, support him. If he makes a mistake, advise him kindly.
76
Idha 'atasa ahadukum fal yaqul alhamdulillah, wal yaqul lahu akhuhu yarhamukallah
— Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: When one of you sneezes, say "Alhamdulillah", and his brother should say "Yarhamukallah".
Lesson: This small sunnah brings barakah. When you sneeze, praise Allah. When someone else sneezes and praises Allah, say "Yarhamukallah" (May Allah have mercy on you). This simple exchange is a reminder of Allah's blessings and a way to increase love between Muslims.
77
Ajibud da'wah
— 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Accept the invitation.
Lesson: When a Muslim invites you to a wedding or a meal, accept unless you have a valid excuse. This builds community and love. Do not refuse out of pride or laziness. However, if the event includes haram (like music or free mixing), do not attend.
78
'Udul marid
— Al-Bara' ibn 'Azib (رضي الله عنهما)
Meaning: Visit the sick.
Lesson: Visiting a sick person brings great reward. Your presence comforts them, you can make dua for their health, and it reminds you of your own mortality. Even a short visit counts. When you visit, ask about their condition, make dua, and encourage them to have patience.
79
Ittabi'ul jana'iz
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Follow the funerals.
Lesson: Attending a funeral is a right of a Muslim upon another Muslim. It reminds you of death and the Hereafter. Accompany the body, pray the janazah prayer, and stay until burial. This act humbles the heart and increases your preparation for your own death.
80
Afshus salam
— Abdullah ibn Umar (رضي الله عنهما)
Meaning: Spread peace.
Lesson: Say "As-salamu alaykum" to everyone you meet — those you know and those you don't. This spreads love and peace in the community. Don't be shy. It is a sunnah that takes one second but has a huge impact. Start with your family, then neighbors, then strangers.
81
At'imut ta'am
— Abdullah ibn Amr (رضي الله عنهما)
Meaning: Feed people food.
Lesson: Feeding the hungry is one of the greatest deeds. It can be your neighbor, a poor person, or even your own family with the intention of worship. If you cannot feed many, start small. The Prophet ﷺ said that feeding food is part of Islam. Share what you have.
82
Sil rahimak
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Maintain your family ties.
Lesson: Keep in touch with your relatives, even if they cut you off. Call them, visit them, send gifts, or at least send salaam. Do not let disputes break family bonds. Maintaining family ties brings blessings in your life and wealth, and prolongs your life. Reconnect today.
83
Afdalus salati ba'dal faridati salatul layl
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: The best prayer after the obligatory is night prayer (Tahajjud).
Lesson: Waking up in the last third of the night to pray is extremely rewarding. Even 2 rak'ah of Tahajjud can bring you closer to Allah. Start by setting an alarm 15 minutes before Fajr. It is hard at first, but the spiritual benefits are immense.
84
Afdalus siyami ba'da Ramadanu shahrullahil muharram
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: The best fasting after Ramadan is in the month of Allah, Al-Muharram.
Lesson: The month of Muharram is sacred. Fasting on the 10th day (Ashura) expiates the sins of the previous year. Also fast the 9th along with it to differ from the Jews. This is an easy way to earn great reward. Mark your calendar for Ashura each year.
85
Afdalul jihadi hajjun mabrur
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: The best jihad is an accepted Hajj.
Lesson: Many people think jihad is only fighting. But for many of us, the greatest struggle is performing Hajj correctly — with pure intentions, patience, and following all rules. An accepted Hajj (with no sins committed during it) wipes out all past sins. Save and plan to go.
86
Afdaludh dhikri la ilaha illallah
— Jabir ibn 'Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما)
Meaning: The best remembrance is "La ilaha illallah".
Lesson: No word is more beloved to Allah than "La ilaha illallah" — the declaration that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah. Say it often, especially in the morning and evening. It is light on the tongue but heavy on the scales. Make it your constant dhikr.
87
Afdalud du'a'il hamdu lillah
— Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: The best supplication is "Alhamdulillah".
Lesson: Praising Allah in all situations — good and bad — is a powerful form of worship. When something good happens, say Alhamdulillah. When something difficult happens, still say Alhamdulillah knowing that Allah's plan is best. This one word can fill your scales with good deeds.
88
Afdalus sadaqati an tasaddaqa wa anta sahihun shahih, ta'mulul ghina wa takhshal faqr
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: The best charity is to give when you are healthy and careful, hoping for wealth but fearing poverty.
Lesson: It is easy to give charity when you are dying or when you are very rich. The best charity is when you are still healthy and careful about your money — when giving is harder because you might need that money later. This shows true trust in Allah. Give while you still can.
89
Kullu sulama minan nasi 'alaihi sadaqah kulla yawmin tatl'u fihish shams
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Every joint of a person must give charity every day the sun rises.
Lesson: Every day you wake up, you owe charity for each joint in your body. How can you pay? Every tasbih (Subhanallah) is charity, every tahmid (Alhamdulillah) is charity, every tahlil (La ilaha illallah) is charity, and even helping someone with their load is charity. Start your day by praising Allah and helping others.
90
Khairu baytin fil muslimina baytun fihi yatimun yuhsanu ilayh
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: The best house among Muslims is one where an orphan is treated well.
Lesson: Taking care of an orphan — whether by adoption, sponsoring their education, or simply treating them kindly — brings you close to the Prophet ﷺ in Paradise. The Prophet said he would be like a wall apart from the one who cares for an orphan. Open your home and heart to orphans.
91
Wa sharru baytin fil muslimina baytun fihi yatimun yusa'u ilayh
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: The worst house is one where an orphan is mistreated.
Lesson: If an orphan lives in your home and you mistreat them — by yelling at them, ignoring them, or stealing their inheritance — your house becomes the worst. Allah warns against harming orphans. Treat them as you would treat your own child, with love, patience, and justice.
92
Tahadu tahabbu
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Give gifts to love each other.
Lesson: Gifts increase love between people. They don't have to be expensive — a date, a flower, or a small treat can make someone's day. Exchange gifts with your family, friends, and neighbors. This simple sunnah removes hatred and spreads joy.

Al-akilu sh-shakiru bimanazilati s-saimi s-sabir
— Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: The one who eats and is thankful is like one who fasts and is patient.
Lesson: If you cannot fast, you can still earn similar reward by eating with gratitude. After every meal, say "Alhamdulillah" sincerely. Appreciate the blessing of food. Thank Allah for providing for you. Gratitude can elevate a simple meal to the level of worship.

Na'am, wa in kunta 'ala naharin jar
— Abdullah ibn Amr (رضي الله عنهما)
Meaning: Yes, even if you are on a flowing river.
Lesson: Even if you live by a river, do not waste water. This is a powerful reminder that Islam cares about the environment and resources. Do not leave taps running, do not overwater plants, do not be excessive in anything. Moderation is a sign of faith.

At-tuhuru shatrul iman
— Abu Malik al-Ash'ari (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: Cleanliness is half of faith.
Lesson: Keeping yourself and your environment clean is extremely important in Islam. Brush your teeth (miswak), shower regularly, wash your hands, clean your house, and keep your mosque tidy. A clean believer is a strong believer. Don't neglect hygiene — it is part of your deen.

Idha sami'tumul mu'adhdhina fa qulu mithla ma yaqul
— Abdullah ibn Amr (رضي الله عنهما)
Meaning: When you hear the call to prayer, say what he says.
Lesson: When the mu'adhdhin says "Allahu Akbar," you say "Allahu Akbar." When he says "Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah," you repeat it. After the adhan, send salawat on the Prophet and make dua. The Prophet ﷺ will intercede for those who do this. This simple act brings great reward.

— Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه)
Meaning: The supplication between Adhan and Iqamah is not rejected.
Lesson: The time between the adhan (call to prayer) and iqamah (start of prayer) is a special time when Allah accepts duas. After the adhan, instead of just waiting, make sincere dua. Ask for forgiveness, ask for guidance, ask for anything halal. This is a golden opportunity for answered prayers.

I'dilu bayna awladikum
— An-Nu'man ibn Bashir
Meaning: Be just between your children.
Lesson: If you have multiple children, treat them fairly. Do not favor one over another with gifts, attention, or love. This causes jealousy and hatred between siblings. Even small acts of favoritism hurt. Treat your children equally, and they will grow up loving each other.
99
Khairukum man at'amat ta'am
— Abdullah ibn Amr (رضي الله عنهما)
Meaning: The best among you are those who feed others.
Lesson: Feeding the hungry is a sign of the best people. This includes feeding your family, your guests, the poor, and even animals. Sharing food brings blessings. If you have extra, give it away. Invite neighbors for meals. Be known as someone who feeds others.

Da' ma yaribuka ila ma la yaribuka
— Al-Hasan ibn 'Ali (رضي الله عنهما)
Meaning: Leave what causes you doubt for what does not cause you doubt.
Lesson: If you are unsure whether something is halal or haram, leave it. Even if you think it might be allowed, but something in your heart feels uneasy — leave it for something clear. This protects your faith and your peace of mind. Don't play with doubts; choose certainty.
